Industrial Multicell
A streamlined version of Watlow's multicell insertion heater is now available for applications that do not require extreme high temperatures.
The new product, the Industrial Multicell, will operate efficiently at temperatures up to 1830 °F (1000 °C). It is designed to handle industrial applications that demand high voltages and wattages. The heaters rugged construction permits it to survive in conditions that would be lethal to many heater types.
The first heater offers up to three separate and independently controlled zones, the Industrial Multicell is designed for single zone applications, and is available in lengths from 8 inches to 18 feet.
The new heater is available in all three standard multicell diameters: 0.485, 0.685 and 0.935 inches. This product can satisfy 480 V ~(ac) three-phase power requirements for the process industry.
